At CBC our goal is to reach the kids of today’s world, in today’s   culture and style with the age-old truth of God’s Word, and lead them   to a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ.   We strive to show   children that God and His Word are relevant to the issues we face   today, and that they can be fun!  On Sunday mornings we focus on a   specific virtue for a month.  We have both large and small group   settings where children both listen and participate.  They learn to use   God’s Word, and how it applies to the issues they face each day.  We   worship together and enjoy refreshments as well.

We have Club 6, especially for 6th graders.  This club meets on   Sunday afternoons, and explores “All I need to Know to be a   Teenager,” and plays games together.

Missions are also very important.  We are called to reach out to those   around us in need.  We will offer a Mission Night once a month on   Sunday nights for children to learn about and participate in missions   opportunities in our town, state, country, and around the world!

Family ministry is an important focus of our Children’s ministry.    While our time with children each Sunday is important, we know that   through everyday life experiences, parents have much more teaching   time with their children.  Therefore we put a great deal of emphasis     on the family.  We have a Connect Group for adults that studies the   same virtue lesson and Scripture text that the children are studying.    Following Connection Place, we have a Family Production each   Sunday.  In this production, called iWonder, parents and children   worship and learn together through drama and media presentations,   worship, and more.  This fun avenue of learning helps children and     parents apply what they’ve learned throughout the week.

In addition to the opportunities on Sunday mornings, there are   opportunities throughout the year for families to grow together.    Through our Malachi Ministry, in the works at the moment, we are   focusing on families and ways to help them grow together.  The   relationship between parents and children is important, as well as the   parents’ relationship with one another; we strive to provide events   throughout the year to facilitate growth in both avenues.
